Make sure you have Snake-Eyes' sword abilities at level 4. When you fight a boss use the move accessed with right, right+punch if you are headed right; or left,left+punch if you are headed left. Attack the bosses once or twice with this and they will die easily.

Select Password from the title screen then enter the following password to start at the corresponding game location. The first character is you input, the second is its location on the grid:

Note that there are still three "Find the enemy on the route" stages even after this password is input, of which two stages need to be cleared before access to the last stage (Cobra Commander Base) is possible.
