After loading a song, eject the disk and the music will stop playing, but the words will continue to scroll. Sing. Eventually, re-insert the disk and the music will load, but in the same place it left off. Press pause and un-pause and the music and lyrics will be in sync. Repeat if wanted. Now you can get a higher score on harder levels.

You can easily get the platinum record for the song ''It's the End of the World as We Know It'' by singing the note for the phrase ''Eye of a hurricane....'' and just holding it out for the entire verse (don't worry about lyrics)
