Populous: The Beginning Cheats

At the main menu, begin a New Game. Choose the first Scenario, ''The Journey Begins''. In this level, move the arrow onto a tree in the level and press the X button. Do this for every tree in the level. Once you do this, press Start to pause, you should see a new option at the bottom of the list call Cheats.
